This course provides an exploration of mindfulness meditation, delving into the foundational views of Hinayana Buddhist teachings, and meditation in action for daily life.  With meditation practice, we relax with ourselves and appreciate simple human experiences.  Difficult emotions and the challenges of life can be met with gentleness, mindfulness and inquisitiveness.

Open to the public. There are no prerequisites for this program.

Ruth Wallen has been a student and teacher of Shambhala for many years.  She is a mother, artist, and professor of art.

This program will be offered at the
San Diego Shambhala Meditation Center
6727 Flanders Drive, Suite 102, San Diego, 92121
Just south of Mira Mesa Blvd. in Sorrento Mesa.

*We have a generosity policy to make our offerings available to all who wish to participate. If the program price is an obstacle for you, please consider what works for you in your current situation, and offer as much of the program fee as you can.

For those who can offer more than the program price, we have a “patron price”. Your generosity in offering the patron price helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full price.

People who have taken this program before are welcome to repeat the class for a reduced rate by registering in advance using the “pay what you can afford” option.
