Day of Practice

March 17th

Date details +

This is a precious opportunity for us to practice together, enjoy good food and drink, reflect on the abundance of riches that this community has to offer, and to express gratitude for all of these things. Join us for the usual Sunday sitting 9 to 11 and continue throughout the day. Please notice the change on this Sunday from tea at 11 to shared lunch at 12:00.

Brief guided meditation instruction will be offered to those new to Shambhala meditation at the very beginning of your session and private interviews will be available upon request with well-qualified meditation instructors throughout the day.  Silence (functional talking when necessary) will be observed throughout most of the day.

Please bring a simple lunch or food to share. Snacks will be provided in the afternoon.

This event is best experienced in its entirety, but you are free to participate for any amount of time that your schedule permits. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come for the Celebratory Tea at 4:30 p.m. even if you are unable to join in the day of practice.
